About CSCEC 8

Headquartered in Pudong, Shanghai, CSCEC 8 is the state-owned large-scale backbone construction enterprise of China State Construction Engineering Co. Ltd (CSCEC), a Fortune Global 500 enterprise. Originally organized as the Infrastructure Construction Engineering Army of Chinese People’s Liberation Army in 1970, the company was reorganized as CSCEC 8 in 1983 and restructured to the current enterprise in 2009.

A pacesetter in Chinese construction, CSCEC 8 is known for its powerful direct marketing and construction of “high, large, new, special and sophisticated” projects.
