About University of Florence

The University of Florence is one of the largest in the Italian university system. It offers programs at all levels and in all disciplinary areas: scientific, biomedical, technological, humanities and social sciences. There are more than 200 programs, with courses in the first cycle (bachelor’s degrees) in the second cycle (master’s degree and 5 or 6-year combined cycle degrees) and in the third cycle (doctorates, specialization courses and other post-graduate courses) coordinated and managed by the 10 schools.
